Namal Pathiraja

Namal Pathiraja is a seasoned hotel management professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as Resident Manager at Resplendent Ceylon since April 2024, Namal previously held the same title at Barcelo Hotel Group and the position of General Manager at Teardrop Hotels. Additional roles include Assistant Resort Manager and Food Beverage Manager at Aitken Spence Hotels, where Namal was integral to the pre-opening of the first five-star property in Negombo. Prior positions encompass Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at both Taj Hotels and Avani Hotels and Resorts, as well as various managerial roles at Galle Face Hotel and Hilton Colombo. Namal began the career as a receptionist at Aitken Spence Hotels and holds a degree in Food & Beverage Operations from the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management.
