Matt Woodcock

Matt Woodcock is an experienced Programme Manager with a strong background in education, health, and social care. Currently serving as Membership Programme Manager at Responsible Finance since March 2024, Matt previously held the position of Senior Programme Manager at the Department for Education, where significant achievements included establishing the Secretary of State for Education’s Attendance Action Alliance. Prior roles include Head of Programme Management at the Department of Health and Social Care, where a PMO and governance framework were created to address adult social care workforce issues during the pandemic, and similar positions at the Department for Education, where Matt led strategic initiatives to improve social mobility through education funding. Matt's early career involved impactful roles at the National College for Teaching & Leadership and Capital One, contributing to the accreditation of education leaders and the development of e-learning resources.
