Michelle Cheung

Michelle Cheung is an experienced legal professional with a strong focus on financial services, superannuation, and funds management. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Rest since June 2021, Michelle has previously held senior legal roles at AMP in both Financial Products and Financial Advice divisions. Prior experience includes Senior Associate at Holding Redlich, where Michelle specialized in Superannuation, Funds Management, and Financial Services, and Senior Legal Counsel during a secondment at Commonwealth Bank. Additional positions include roles at King & Wood Mallesons, Lander & Rogers, and Norton Rose Fulbright, along with earlier legal experience at Clayton Utz and REST Industry Super. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sydney, complemented by studies at Beijing Language and Culture University and University of Technology, Sydney.
