Axel Schwan

Axel Schwan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as President for Canada and the USA at Tim Hortons under Restaurant Brands International since 2014. Previously, Axel held senior positions within the company, including President for Canada, the US, and Latin America, as well as Global Chief Marketing Officer for both Tim Hortons and Burger King. Prior to joining Restaurant Brands International, Axel worked as Vice President of Marketing & Communications EMEA and Marketing Director for Burger King in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Axel also held the position of CEO at Schwan Restaurant GmbH and held various roles at Danone Waters and Unilever. Axel's academic background includes a degree from the International School of Management in Germany, obtained between 1995 and 1999.
