Osvaldo Valenzuela

Osvaldo Valenzuela is a seasoned labor relations consultant and lead organizer with extensive experience in conflict resolution and team building. Currently serving as Lead Organizer for Restaurant Opportunities Centers United since January 2020, Valenzuela also operates O. Valenzuela Consulting, specializing in collective labor agreements and labor policy implementation. Previous roles include Staff Representative at AFSCME 31, where Valenzuela successfully negotiated significant salary increases and established effective grievance systems, and Business Agent at SEIU Local 1. Valenzuela's background includes international experience, having held positions with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Panama and the Illinois Migrant Council, along with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Universidad Nacional de Panamá.
