Alex Kent

Alex Kent has over fifteen years of experience in the NGO sector, specializing in campaigning and advocacy. Alex is currently the Co-CEO of Restless Development, an organization that works with young people to lead social and economic change in their communities. Prior to this, they were the International Campaigns Manager at WaterAid, where they led global advocacy and campaigns to improve water and sanitation access for the world’s poorest people. Alex has also worked as a Senior Campaigns Advisor at Save the Children, Head of 1GOAL South Africa, and Head of Campaigns at the Global Campaign for Education. In addition, they have experience working in Communications and Research, having coordinated communications for Comic Relief and conducted research for Africa Now. Throughout their career, Alex has been a passionate advocate for education and human rights, working to ensure that everyone has access to a quality education.

Alex Kent completed a BSc in Geography at The University of Edinburgh, followed by an MA in Education and International Development at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society.
