Paul Byrne has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Paul started their career at Cisco Systems as a Systems Engineering Manager from 1997 to 2007. Paul then joined VMware as a Senior Systems Engineering Manager and later became the Director of Professional Services & Systems Engineering from 2007 to 2013. At VMware, they played a significant role in driving revenue growth and recruiting top talent. In 2014, they were promoted to Senior Director of U.S. Enterprise, where they led the growth of VMware's automation, network, security, and storage virtualization. In 2016, they were further promoted to Vice President of Worldwide Systems Engineering for VMware's Software Defined Data Center division, where they grew revenue and expanded the team.
