Mark Anduss has a diverse work history spanning several industries. Mark began their career as a Technical Director at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, where they managed the construction of scenery and supervised production crews. Mark then worked as a Digital Media Specialist at Pal-Tech, Inc., where they were responsible for creating multimedia training videos for the U.S. State Department. Mark also served as a New Media Specialist at Georgetown University, providing technical support and teaching sessions on video editing software. Mark later became a Senior Video Editor and Audio Specialist at WILL Interactive and a Table Games Dealer at Maryland Live Casino. Mark has also worked in various capacities in the theater industry, including roles as a Sound and Video Designer at various live theater venues and as a Technical Director at the Bethesda Theatre. Prior to that, they were a Las Vegas and Gaming Industry Writer, focusing on helping visitors make the most of their trips. Most recently, Mark has gained experience in the performing arts field as an Assistant Technical Director and Acting Technical Director at the Reston Community Center, where they handle event operations, budgets, equipment, staffing, and crew management. In addition, they have worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer for community and professional performances.
Mark Anduss attended American University from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Technology. Mark also holds several additional certifications, including AVIXA-Recognized AV Technologist Test obtained in October 2022, OSHA 10 obtained in May 2020, Dante Certification Level 2 obtained in April 2020, and Apple Certified Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Level One obtained in April 2012.
