Charissa Butler (Lynn)

Charissa "Lynn" Butler has over 30 years of experience in information systems and technology management. Charissa "Lynn" most recently served as the Director of Information Systems at Restonic since February 2018. Prior to that, they were the Chief Information Officer at the College of Lake County from June 2015 to February 2018, and served as the Interim Chief Information Officer from November 2014 to June 2015.

Before joining the College of Lake County, Butler was the Vice President of Information Systems at Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC from July 2011 to September 2014. In this role, they successfully led the selection and implementation of ERP software for two merged companies.

Earlier in their career, Butler held various information technology leadership positions at Serta, where they achieved significant cost savings through consolidating data and telecommunication services and negotiating with multiple vendors. Butler's career began as a Customer Support Manager and Senior Programmer Analyst at ADS Solutions - Cloud ERP Software, where they were responsible for support of various functions including accounting, finance, procurement, and inventory control. Prior to that, they worked as an Information Systems Specialist and Assistant Loan Service Manager at Columbus Marin Savings & Loan.

Charissa "Lynn" Butler completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Administrative Office Management at Eastern Illinois University from 1978 to 1982. Charissa "Lynn" then pursued further education at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, obtaining their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree between 2014 and 2017.
