Rochelle Haynes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in social impact and urban policy. Currently serving as Managing Director for What Works Cities at Bloomberg Philanthropies since April 2022, Rochelle previously held the position of Vice President of US Social Impact at Sesame Workshop, where the scaling of the Sesame Street in Communities initiative was led. Further experience includes Head of Operations & Program Strategy at 100 Resilient Cities, Chief of Staff at the New York City Department of Homeless Services, and various leadership roles at the NYC Human Resources Administration and Department of Housing Preservation & Development. Education includes a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University at Albany.
