Alejandro began their career in 1997 as a customer response specialist at Reuters. Alejandro then moved to CIT in 1999, where they worked as an account sales executive until 2005. In 2005, they joined Dell as an account executive. Alejandro was promoted to sales area manager in 2007 and to senior regional sales manager in 2014. Alejandro held this position until 2015, when they left Dell to join Results Partners as vineyard manager.

Alejandro Avalos completed a program in financial analysis for sales executives at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Alejandro then went on to earn their MBA in business at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Finally, they completed a college degree in business management at Universidad Anáhuac.
