Mats Edenius

Mats Edenius, also known as MedsE, is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in DevOps, automation, and music production. Currently serving as the CTO and Board member at Áfram Islandshästförening since October 2022, Mats focuses on IT for the nonprofit organization dedicated to Icelandic horses. As a Music Producer at MedsE Records since July 2021, responsibilities include music production and promotion using various creative tools. Mats, employed at IKEA since December 2017, has held multiple roles including DevOps and Metrics Specialist, DevOps and Automation Engineer, and Test Automation Expert, supporting teams in improving development efficiency through metrics and automation. Additional experience includes founding Edidma AB as an Automation Expert Consultant, as well as previous roles in test automation and quality assurance at various organizations, including QBOX, HittaHem.se, Viaplay AB, and SVT. Mats holds a Master's Degree in System Development and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Umeå University, along with education from Mid Sweden University.
