Doug Weich

Doug Weich is a seasoned entrepreneur and connector in the retail industry, currently serving as a Connecter at Retail AI Council since October 2023. As the Founder and CEO of Sophelle since 1995, Doug has been instrumental in assisting retailers in innovating to enhance customer experiences. Doug also contributes actively to the investment ecosystem as a member of Gaingels and an investor with 37 Angels, while managing early-stage ventures through Sophelle Ventures. In addition to founding the Framingham Fund to support students with scholarships, Doug has held multiple leadership roles at the National Retail Federation and is a long-standing member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization. Doug's earlier experience includes co-founding RetailExchange.com and founding e-guide, alongside an MBA from D'Amore-McKim School of Business and a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
