Shirley Gao

Shirley Gao is an accomplished technology and digital transformation leader with extensive experience in the retail industry. Currently serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Committee at the Retail AI Council since March 2024, Shirley is dedicated to guiding retailers in leveraging artificial intelligence for growth. As the Chief Digital and Information Officer at PACSUN since June 2021, responsibilities include overseeing enterprise systems and eCommerce development, among other areas. Previous roles include Chief Information Officer at PSEB LLC, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Young's Market Company, and Chief Information Officer at GUESS?, Inc., where significant advancements in digital transformation and system optimization were achieved. Educational qualifications include a Retail Executive Education from the University of Southern California and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dalian Maritime University.
