John Chen Cae

John Chen, CAE has over 18 years of work experience in various marketing and management roles. John is currently the Vice President of Marketing & Management Information Systems at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), where they lead the development of marketing and technology strategies and collaborates with internal stakeholders on revenue-generating initiatives. Prior to RILA, they served as the Associate Director of Marketing at the American Association for Justice and as the Vice President of Marketing at the Electronic Retailing Association. John also has experience in managing associations, as they served as the Managing Director of the Public Media Business Association and as the Director of Marketing at MCI USA. John holds a bachelor's degree from California State University Chico and has previous experience in communications and coaching roles.

John Chen, CAE has a strong educational background in instructional design and technology. John pursued graduate courses in Instructional Design & Technology at California State University, Chico. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Design with a focus on graphic design. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Instructional Design & Technology, both from California State University, Chico.

In addition to their academic achievements, John Chen has also obtained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from the ASAE CAE Commission in January 2014.
