Lois V. has gained extensive work experience in the journalism field. Lois started their career as an Editorial Intern at edie and Utility Week in 2014. Lois then worked as a Reporter at Utility Week before becoming a Deputy News Editor. Lois also held the role of News Editor at Utility Week, where they managed the news flow across print and online and developed relationships with industry contacts. Additionally, they served as the Editor for Water.Retail, an intelligence publication for water retail professionals. Lois later joined Faversham House as the Features Editor for Utility Week, where they were responsible for developing news analysis and managing the editorial voice. Lois also held the role of Editor for Water.Retail during their time at Faversham House. In 2019, Lois joined William Reed Business Media Ltd. as the Deputy Features Editor and later became the Features Editor for The Grocer, leading the magazine's features team and setting the agenda in the grocery industry. In 2020, Lois decided to go freelance and built an extensive portfolio as a Freelance Journalist, specializing in sustainability, utilities, and food & drink. Currently, they are working as the Chief Reporter for Money Marketing, where they produce market-leading news, analysis, opinion, interviews, and commercial content.

Lois V. graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in English with Film Studies.
