Sophie Fresle

Sophie Fresle started their work experience as an Events Coordinator at the University of Surrey in 2007 and held this role until 2011. After that, they joined Elite as an Events Coordinator and later became an Assistant Events Manager, overseeing commercial conference events across Europe, Africa, North America, and the Middle East. From 2014 to 2015, Sophie worked as an Assistant Operations Manager at IC Publications, where they were involved in organizing various events related to Africa's political and economic issues. Sophie then joined The Network Group Events and served as an Operations Manager from 2015 to 2016 before being promoted to Head of Operations from 2016 to 2020. Currently, Sophie is working at EMAP as the Head of Event Operations, a role they took on in 2020.

Sophie Fresle completed their undergraduate education from 2007 to 2011 at the University of Surrey, where they earned a BSc 2:1 degree in Business Management. During their time at university, they also attended the Singapore Management University from 2009 to 2010, although no specific degree or field of study information is available.

In addition to their formal education, Sophie has obtained several certifications. In July 2015, they received the "First Aid at Work" certification from the British Red Cross. Sophie further enhanced their first aid skills by obtaining the "Emergency First Aid at Work" certification from First Aid Guru in September 2022. Most recently, in May 2023, Sophie completed the "IOSH Safe Management & Live Events" certification from X Ventures, suggesting their interest in the management of safety and live events.
