Chris Gerber

Chris Gerber's work experience includes working as an Implementation Engineer Team Lead in the LATNAM Region at RetailNext since April 2021, and as Founder and CEO at Cloud Ninja since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Administrator and Educator at Sunningdale Primary School from November 2014 to June 2019. Chris also has experience as a Marketing Administrator at Kazang from November 2013 to November 2014, and as a Marketing Consultant at Pick 'n Pay from June 2013 to October 2013. Chris Gerber started their career as a 3rd Year Student at IMM in January 2011 and continued as a Full Time Student at IMM Graduate School of Marketing from February 2011 to February 2012. Before that, they worked as a Hardware Technician and Disaster Recovery Specialist at Cozatec from April 2010 to February 2011. Chris also worked as IT Support at Indawo Cape (Pty) Ltd in February 2009.

Chris Gerber has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from IMM Graduate School, obtained between 2011 and 2013. Chris also has another Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management/Strategy from Varsity College, obtained during the same time period. Furthermore, they have a degree in Programming and Hardware from CTI, obtained between 2008 and 2009. In addition, Chris attended Fairbairn College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in ME, studying subjects such as Mathematics, Accounting, Science, Biology, English, and Afrikaans. Additionally, Chris has obtained certifications in various cloud infrastructure courses from Coursera, including Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation, Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services, Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundations, and Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure, all obtained in 2019.
