Irena Vitkauskiene

Irena Vitkauskiene, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Marketing and Innovations at RETAL since October 2023 and holds the position of Deputy HSE Chair at PET EUROPE since August 2022. Since September 2018, Irena has been a Senior Lecturer at Vilnius University, where a Management course tailored for Chemistry Program students was developed, emphasizing legal compliance in chemical management, occupational safety, sustainability, and product development aligned with international standards. Previous roles include Business Development Consultant at Plastikse and Mentor at idialogue. Irena's experience at UAB NEO GROUP spans multiple positions, including Product Development Manager and Chemist Engineer. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Vilnius University and multiple master’s degrees in management and polymer chemistry. Irena is currently pursuing a non-degree program in Business Development and Sustainability at ISM University of Management and Economics.
