Lauren Wright

Lauren Wright has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Lauren began their career as a Team Member at Mitchells & Butlers, where they gained valuable teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure. In 2014, they worked as an ICT Support Technician at the European University Institute. Lauren then joined Target Group as an IT Business Analyst, where they completed projects using SQL and Visio as part of their university studies. In 2016, they became a Junior Developer at We Fight Any Claim, providing support for ongoing projects and assisting senior developers. Lauren's next role was at the NHS, starting as a Software Developer and later becoming a Senior Software Developer. Their responsibilities included completing projects from design to implementation, attending meetings, and assisting team members. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at Chepstow Plant International Ltd. as a Lead Software Developer, managing a team and turning business goals into development plans. In 2020, they became an Application Developer Team Leader at Acquis Insurance Management. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Software Developer at Rethink Underwriting Ltd, starting in 2023.

Lauren Wright received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Cardiff Metropolitan University between 2012 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed their high school education in Computer Science at Cross Keys College from 2010 to 2012. In addition, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in September 2022.
