Stepan Prochazka has extensive experience in business development and management, currently serving as Business Manager at RETIA, Inc. since November 2017, where responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, consulting with clients, and establishing strategic partnerships. Previously, Prochazka held the position of Director of the Investment Development Department at CzechInvest from January 2008 to February 2016, overseeing a team of 30, developing investment acquisition strategies, and managing foreign operations. Additional roles at CzechInvest included Foreign Representative for Scandinavia Operations, where targeted strategies for Nordic investments were developed, and Project Manager for Clusters, focusing on EU subsidy administration and fostering collaboration among enterprises. Earlier work experience includes a trainee role at ŠKODA AUTO a.s. in the marketing department and as an Administrative Assistant at Nestlé’s Customer Service Department. Prochazka holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Society Studies from Charles University and has ongoing studies at the University of Turku.

RETIA is a technology company which develops, manufactures and modernizes radars, missile systems, C4I systems, recording systems, UWB localization and communication systems. These products have been delivered and are delivered to the Czech Armed Forces, NATO, armed forces of NATO members and other military and civilian customers in the Czech Republic and in more than 40 countries worlwide. RETIA was founded in 1993 as a limited company. Since then RETIA has been growing continuously not only in size, but particularly by the number and importance of its contracts. RETIA was transformed into a stock company in 1996. RETIA has procured and reconstructed the new development and production facilities which are currently used. In order to execute challenging and complex contracts RETIA has undergone many technical and organizational changes.
