Paul Altena

Paul Altena is an experienced analytics and data architecture professional, currently serving as an Analytics Consultant at EIFFEL since January 2023, while also holding the position of Data Architect at RET since August 2021, focusing on public transport analytics. Previously, Paul worked as a BI Data Warehouse Engineer at Volksbank from June 2019 to June 2022 and served as an IT Architect at Coöperatie VGZ from 2012 to May 2019, specializing in business intelligence architecture. Additional experience includes roles at IBM Global Business Services, where Paul was an IT Architect specializing in business intelligence for over 14 years, and previous positions at Jumbo Supermarkten, El Corte, and Achmea. Paul Altena holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Groningen and a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from HTS Leeuwarden.
