Wolf-Dieter Vogl

Wolf-Dieter Vogl has extensive work experience in various roles. Wolf-Dieter currently holds the position of Senior Deep Learning Engineer at RetInSight since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Medical University of Vienna from 2012 to 2022, where they started as a Research Associate and later became a Postdoctoral Researcher. From 1999 to 2006, they gained experience in Software Design and Development at SEZ, which was acquired by Lam Research Corporation.

Wolf-Dieter Vogl began their education at HTL Villach Datentechnik, where they obtained their Matura (High School, A-Grade) degree in Computer Software Technology/Technician from 1993 to 1998. Wolf-Dieter then proceeded to Technische Universität Wien, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Media Informatics from 2006 to 2010. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, they attended Technische Universität Wien again, this time achieving a Diplom-Ingenieur (equivalent to Master of Science) degree in Informatics – Visual Computing. Lastly, from 2012 to 2018, Wolf-Dieter Vogl pursued their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD at the Medical University of Vienna, focusing on Doctoral Studies.
