Gerry Moore, FCIPR, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. After retiring in October 2019, Gerry served as Director of Development and Communications at World Wide Talent Management from December 2017 to October 2019, focusing on mentoring executives. Between 2008 and 2016, Gerry was the Managing Director of Moore Public Relations Consultancy Ltd., specializing in public sector communication and successfully leading major projects for local authorities. An interim position as Head of Communications at the NHS from May 2013 to May 2014 involved advising on transformational communication, achieving a significant award nomination. Gerry has also held diverse roles, including Interim Head of Communications for the London Borough of Newham and Doncaster MBC, showcasing expertise in media management during crises. At Kent County Council, from April 1993 to March 2008, Gerry led a team that achieved high resident satisfaction ratings and won a national PR award for community relations. Gerry holds a Proficiency Certificate from the National Council Training of Journalists.
