Tommaso Alterini

Tommaso Alterini is an optical engineer who is currently working at RetiSpec. Tommaso has previously worked at Mermec, Dynamic Optics, and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Alterini has a wealth of experience in the field of optical engineering and has been working on developing a hyperspectral imaging system for the dynamic recording of the ocular fundus. Tommaso is currently in the process of refining the prototype before taking it to its clinical final validation at Ocular Microsurgery Institute (IMO).

Tommaso Alterini has a PhD in Optical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a Laurea Magistrale in Fisica della materia condensata e dei materiali from Università degli Studi di Firenze, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Physics from Università degli Studi di Firenze. Tommaso also has a Diploma in Scienze from Liceo Scientifico.
