Leon Thurner

Leon Thurner is the founder and managing director of retoflow GmbH, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this, Leon served as the group leader for network planning tools at Fraunhofer IEE from March 2019 to December 2021. An academic background includes a role as a research associate at Universität Kassel from May 2013 to July 2019. Leon holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, obtained from the University of Kassel in April 2018, as well as a Master of Science in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency from the same university in April 2013. Early education includes a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (Electrical Engineering) from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, completed in October 2011.
