Florian Abicht

Florian Abicht is the Chief Data Science Officer at Retorio since February 2021, leading the development of a video-based talent management platform that integrates AI, machine learning, and psychological research. Prior to this role, Abicht served as Group Head Applied Intelligence at Plan.Net Business Intelligence within the Serviceplan Group, overseeing software development and data science teams from September 2016 to February 2021. Florian has also held positions such as Lead Data Scientist at Startup Compass in San Francisco and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Max-Born-Institute in Berlin, where contributions were made to laser-particle-acceleration research.
