Tobias Fehlmann

Tobias Fehlmann has a diverse work experience in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics. Tobias began their career as a Teaching Assistant and later became a Lecturer at Universität des Saarlandes, where they also conducted research as a PHD Student and Postdoctoral Research Scholar. In 2015, they joined the institution and held various teaching roles until 2017. From 2015 to 2022, Tobias worked as a PHD Student and conducted research in the field. In 2022, they joined Astera Institute as a Senior Bioinformatician, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Staff Scientist, focusing on Computational Biology, at Retro Biosciences.

Tobias Fehlmann completed their education in the field of Bioinformatics at the Universität des Saarlandes. Tobias obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from the university between 2010 and 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Bioinformatics at the same institution in 2015. Finally, Tobias went on to earn a Ph.D. (Doktor) in Bioinformatics from the Universität des Saarlandes, which they completed between 2015 and 2022.
