Dion Nair

Dion Nair has a strong background in leadership and management roles. Dion currently serves as the CEO of Retro Rabbit since 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Managing Director at Tattuka Investments starting from 2017. Dion also has experience at AIG, where they worked as the Consumer Head : Africa Zone from 2015 to 2017, focusing on developing long-term strategies and building a customer-centric culture. Before that, they worked at Nedbank, first as the Executive Head : Insurance Distribution from 2013 to 2014 and later as the Chief Operating Officer of NGIB, the short-term insurance distribution division of Nedbank, from 2009 to 2014. Dion's earlier experience includes roles as Systems & Process Manager and Management Consultant at Nedbank from 2001 to 2009.

Dion Nair has an education history that includes various degrees and programs. In 2011, they attended INSEAD and completed a program in Channel Leadership, focusing on strategic distribution. From 2007 to 2008, Dion pursued an MBA in Management at both the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria and the Gordon Institute of Business Science. Prior to their MBA, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika between 2003 and 2006. Additionally, Dion continued their education in 2014 by attending INSEAD for the AMP (Advanced Management Program), with a field of study in Senior Management and Leadership.
