Lead Lighting Artist at Retro Studios

Elizabeth Baxter has worked in the lighting industry for over a decade. Elizabeth began their career in 2008 as a Junior Lighting TD at Rhythm & Hues, where they were responsible for setting up lighting for shots and adjusting lighting and subsurface on characters. In 2010, they moved to Disney Interactive Studios as a Lighting Artist, where they created lighting for various levels within the Epic Mickey franchise and collaborated with Environment Artists to create detailed textures and fix shaders. In 2013, Elizabeth moved to Edge of Reality, where they created lighting for levels, supporting content for all platforms and created color board paint overs to set a look and feel for the lighting in each level. Elizabeth is currently a Lead Lighting Artist at Retro Studios, where they have held roles as Senior Lighting Artist and Lighting Artist since 2014.

Elizabeth Baxter attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where they earned a BFA in Visual Effects.
