Animator (full-time) at Retro Studios

Kyle Ruegg has been working in the animation industry since 2006. In 2006, they worked as a Caricature Artist at Richmond Illustration. In 2007, they worked as an Animator at Raven Software and as a Freelance Animation In-Betweener at Reelworks Animation. In 2009, they worked as an Animator (contract) at Flurry Studios. In 2010, they worked as a 3D Animator at Gameloft, where they created hand-keyed character animation sets for a variety of enemy characters, as well as rigs for characters using character studio and point-weighting for character meshes. In 2011, they worked as an Animator (full-time) and Animator (contract) at Retro Studios, where they created hand-keyed animation for a variety of characters and environmental elements, helped to polish weighting on characters and rig environmental elements, and created hand-keyed animation for various in-game cinematics. All animation and rigging was done using Maya and 3D Studio Max.

Kyle Ruegg attended Ringling College of Art and Design from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Animation.
