Benny Thomas

Benny Thomas is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in news publishing and content creation. Currently serving as Deputy Editor in Charge of News Publishing at Reuters News Agency since December 2016, Benny leads a team of approximately 40 journalists, overseeing the production of newsletters and multimedia packages focused on global financial markets. Prior to this role, Benny held positions at Tata Consultancy Services as a Copy Writer, at Reuters as a News Publishing Specialist, and at Planetsurf Creations as a Web Writer, among others. Benny began the career as a Senior Correspondent at Siliconindia and gained initial experience as a Junior Sub-Editor/Sports Reporter at Bangalore Globe. Benny is a graduate of St. Joseph's College with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
