Supantha Mukherjee

Supantha Mukherjee is an experienced journalist currently serving as the European Technology & Telecoms Correspondent at Reuters News Agency since June 2020, focusing on 5G, technology companies, startups, and tech policy across Europe from a base in Stockholm. Prior to this role, Supantha spent nearly 14 years at Thomson Reuters, first as a correspondent and then as the editor-in-charge for Technology, Media, and Telecom, leading a team in reporting on the financial aspects of tech companies. Supantha began a career in journalism at The Statesman as a sub-editor-cum-reporter from November 2005 to November 2006. Supantha holds a Master’s Degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University of Calcutta, completed between 2003 and 2005.
