Blake Brittain

Blake Brittain is a seasoned legal reporter with extensive experience in legal journalism and analysis. Currently serving as a Legal Reporter for Reuters since March 2021, Blake has previously held positions at Bloomberg Law as a Legal Intelligence Reporter focused on Intellectual Property from January 2019 to March 2021, and at Thomson Reuters as an Associate Editor for Practical Law regarding Intellectual Property and Technology from November 2015 to January 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Legal Editor at Bloomberg BNA, overseeing the Patent, Trademark, and Copyright Journal from October 2013 to October 2015, and as Legal Counsel at FHI 360. Additionally, Blake worked as a Legal Fellow with the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative in the Middle East and North Africa Division. Blake holds a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Wake Forest University.
