Alvaro del Aguila Martos

Alvaro del Aguila Martos has worked in various roles since 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Regional Manager/Ambassador Program at EF Education First. In 2018, they were a StartCamp at Iberdrola, where they gained leadership, teamwork, entrepreneurial, and project management skills. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Florida, where they wrote a paper proposal and studied software defined networking (SDN) principles, routing principles, and drone networks. Alvaro also created Mininet Wi-Fi simulations with the ONOS SDN controller. In addition, they were an EF Summer Camp Ambassadors Coordinator and a Front Desk/Administrative Assistant/Call Assistant. Currently, they are a Technical Project Manager at Ráv Worldwide, where they are a bridge between the technical area in Spain and the business area in the U.S., using their bilingual engineering skills.

Alvaro del Aguila Martos has a comprehensive educational background. In 2016, they obtained their undergraduate degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Alvaro then went on to pursue an undergraduate international exchange at the University of Florida from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, they began their master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas and is currently pursuing a master's degree international exchange at the University of Florida. Additionally, Alvaro del Aguila Martos has obtained several certifications, including Engineering Innovation, Engineering Leadership, and Engineering Project Management from the University of Florida in May 2022, as well as a Diploma in Professional and Personal Skills with Honors and a Diploma in Communication Skills and Studies in a Foreign Language (English) from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 2020 and 2019 respectively. Alvaro also participated in a High School Exchange Year at GICC.
