Ariel Rivas-Micoud

Ariel Rivas-Micoud has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as Export Manager for Fujie Textile K.K. in Japan in 1990. In 1992, they founded and became CEO of Bifrost K.K., an entertainment group incorporating diversified retail operations in Japan. In 1998, they became CEO of Mediafon Telecomunicaciones in Spain, building the billing engine and leading the company to 35,000 subscribers and 6M€ in revenues. From 2001 to 2006, they worked at ALO Comunicaciones S.A. in Spain, first as Vice President of IT and then as Senior Vice President of Business Operations. During this time, they led the transition of IT services, reduced the yearly IT expenses by 75%, and helped slash churn from 4.4% to 1.8%. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as VP IT Europe for Clearwire, leading the IT European Operation and accomplishing a cost reduction of 80%. Finally, from 2010 to 2016, they worked at SoftIgnition as Chairman, Director of a software development and consulting firm. In 2015, they also took on the role of COO US Operations at intelygenz, a sophisticated software development firm. Finally, since 2016, they have been CTO of Rêv Worldwide.

Ariel Rivas-Micoud attended Manhantanville College, the US Army, and California State University from 1982 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History.
