Kristin Turo

Kristin Turo is an accomplished sound designer and audio professional, currently serving as the Owner, Sound Designer, and Editor at KT Sound since September 2015. Based in Syracuse, NY, KT Sound specializes in freelance sound design, sound editing, production recording, and music composition, with recognized contributions to visual media projects across multiple states. In addition, Kristin has been working as an Audio Transcriptionist at Rev.com since January 2019, providing critical audio-to-text services for various applications. Previous roles include Office Manager at Teriktech Corporation, Lessons Studio Lead and Rental Manager at Guitar Center, and Pro Audio and Accessories Sales Associate at Guitar Center. Kristin holds a Master’s Degree in Music Production and Sound Design for Visual Media from the Academy of Art University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production from Full Sail University, a Specialist Certificate in General Music with a focus on Songwriting from Berklee College of Music, and an A.A.S. in Music from Onondaga Community College.
