Omar Alam

Omar Alam is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Vice President of M&A Legal and Associate General Counsel at Salesforce since August 2015. In this role, Omar also holds the title of Senior Director and Head of Legal for Salesforce Ventures, where expertise in corporate counsel is demonstrated. Additionally, Omar is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, teaching Business and Law of Venture Deals. Involvement includes serving as a Board Member for Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting and as a Founding Member of TechGC. Previously, Omar co-founded UroVention, Inc., worked as a law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and held various positions at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati. Educational credentials include a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a BA in Government and History from Bowdoin College.
