Peter Caravan

Peter Caravan has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at Université de Lausanne in 1997. From 1998 to 2007, they worked at EPIX Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Principal Scientist. Peter then moved to Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, where they held the position of Assistant Professor of Radiology from 2007 to 2014. In 2014, they became Co-Director of the Institute for Innovation in Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2010, they founded both Factor 1A, LLC and Collagen Medical, LLC. Finally, in 2016, they co-founded Reveal and, in 2019, they became a Professor of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Peter Caravan obtained a PhD in Chemistry from The University of British Columbia between 1992 and 1996. Peter also obtained a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry from Acadia University between 1988 and 1992.
