William (Bud) King, PMP

Bud King, PMP, has a comprehensive work experience in project and program management spanning over three decades. William (Bud) currently serves as the Program/Portfolio Management Lead at Reveal Risk, a boutique cyber security, privacy, and risk management firm. In this role, they provide program and project management support to help clients achieve their business goals. Prior to joining Reveal Risk, Bud formed their own Project Management Consulting firm and provided services to Elanco Animal Health. William (Bud) also served as the Information Technology Project Manager at Franciscan Alliance Information Services.

Bud spent a significant portion of their career at Eli Lilly and Company, where they held various roles. As an IT Project/Program Manager supporting Information Security, Bud served as the Project/Program Manager for high-profile projects/programs within the Information Security domain. William (Bud) worked with teams to identify project goals and scope, developed detailed project schedules, and resolved issues and risks impacting the projects/programs. Earlier in their tenure at Eli Lilly, Bud worked as a Program/Project Manager supporting the IT Infrastructure, overseeing the transformation of multiple IT infrastructure projects. William (Bud) managed program execution review meetings, identified and resolved program-level risks and issues, and coached project managers.

Furthermore, Bud was a Program/Project Manager supporting Sales & Marketing at Eli Lilly, where they successfully led a project to design and deliver the company's first hand-held sales force customer relationship management tool. William (Bud) also worked as a Senior Systems Analyst supporting the Research Organization, where they collaborated with the Neuroscience area to address their business and IT needs, and managed the development of in-house training for the Research IT team. Earlier in their career, Bud worked as a Senior Systems Analyst supporting the Legal Organization and as a Systems Analyst at Eli Lilly.

Prior to their tenure at Eli Lilly, Bud gained experience as a Programmer/Developer at Blue Cross Blue Shield, where they focused on software development.
