Reveal Surgical
Eric Marple has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical applications. Eric founded EmVision LLC in 2006, a company that specializes in supplying Raman spectroscopic fiber probes and spectrometers. EmVision is internationally recognized for its efficient small form factor in vivo fiber optic probes and high throughput Raman spectrometers. In 2015, Eric co-founded Reveal Surgical, a company based in Montréal, Quebec. Reveal has been assisting surgeons by providing them with data-driven insights into human tissues using AI-enabled optical detection systems. Specifically, their technology, The Sentry System, uses the Raman Effect to help surgeons safely and accurately remove cancerous tissue.
Eric Marple attended Penn State University from 1982 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
