Carmel has managed HR in four of Australia’s pre-eminent organisations: the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) the Australian Federal Police and key segments of PriceWaterhouse Coopers and Qantas.
While at QANTAS, she was recognised with awards for Asia Pacific’s Best New Shared Services Centre and Thought Leader of the Year.
Carmel currently runs her own management consultancy company, focusing on Business strategic and operational advice.
