Sarah Robinson has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. Sarah began their career as President & Executive Board Chair of M-powerment in 2005, where they applied and won a grant from the Women and Girl's Foundation to create a young women's social justice group. In 2012, they were an Intern at the National Women's Law Center, where they managed a database of external partners, composed blog posts, and monitored and created social media communications. From 2013-2015, Sarah worked at PIMCO as a Community Outreach Associate and Community Outreach Coordinator, where they managed over 60 relationships with non-profit organizations, sourced new community partners, created and implemented two skills-based financial literacy programs, trained volunteers, managed curriculum, and built relationships with non profit partners. In 2013, they were a Corporate Institute Fellow at Points of Light, where they organized and designed workshops, managed The Civic 50, and developed and revitalized the Points of Light online Center for Employee Volunteerism. From 2015-2019, Sarah worked at DDC as a Strategic Communications Manager and Engagement Strategist, where they served as the primary communicator on ten key client campaigns across five industries, managed and grew a network of freelance writers, and created more than 200 pieces of content. From 2019-2021, Sarah was at the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, where they were a Center for Effective Lawmaking Outreach Coordinator and Master of Public Policy Student. In 2020, they were an Intern at LTSE, where they researched and developed content for "Building for Generations: Foundations of the LTSE Listing Principles," a white paper distributed to potential listing companies, and assembled a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the impact of shareholder recommendations by proxy advisory firms and the implications of activist investors on strategic business decisions. Currently, Sarah is a Business Development Manager at Revelio Labs.
Sarah Robinson attended The Ellis School from 2006 to 2009. Sarah then attended American University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a B.A in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government. In 2011, they attended Charles University for an unknown duration. Finally, they attended the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy from 2019 to 2021, where they earned a Master of Public Policy.
