Mihai Barbulescu

Mihai Barbulescu is an accomplished professional in the field of cybersecurity and network engineering, holding extensive experience since 2000. Currently serving as Deputy Manager of the Cybersecurity Centre and Senior Network Engineer at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest since May 2003, Mihai also holds the position of Chief Technology Officer for both Revel and Agentia ARNIEC/RoEduNet. Previously, Mihai worked as a Senior Security Architect at CITYMD from August 2016 to August 2022. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Engineering (PhD) in Computer/Network Security obtained from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest between 2013 and 2020, alongside a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and Telecommunications completed from 2000 to 2005 at the same institution.
