Juan J. Urrios Alonso

Juan J. Urrios Alonso has a wealth of work experience, starting with their freelance work as a web developer and web designer since 2004. In 2012, they became the Head of Development and Design at ZoomNews, where they were responsible for maintaining and evolving the platform, visual direction and UX experience for the product. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Avature as a Product Analyst, where they were the product owner for several teams and was responsible for functional analysis, specifications definition + user interface and UX design. Juan J. then moved to Institución Internacional SEK as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for requirement gathering, functional analysis, spec definition and interface design for the development of internal management tools. In 2019, they joined Aplazame as a Lead Product Owner, where they were the lead Product Manager for the new B2C business line, helping define the new unified UVP for the company. Juan J. also lead the development and launch of a new mobile app and credit card. In 2021, they became the Senior Product Manager at StudentFinance, where they were responsible for the redefinition and automation of key operational processes for scalability and regulatory compliance. Since 2022, they have been the Head of Product at Reveni and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor at Caos Madrid.

Juan J. Urrios Alonso has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Juan J. also attended Colegio Retamar. In 2019, they enrolled in the Programa ThePowerMBA at ThePower Business School, and obtained a certification in ThePowerMBA from the same institution in April 2020. In April 2020, they also obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Digital Market from Google. In February 2021, they obtained a certification in Data Driven Design from Lanavenodriza.com. Lastly, in 2020 they obtained a certification in Continuous Interviewing Course from Product Talk. Juan J. is currently working towards a Black Belt Certification (BB) from Adamas Jiujitsu, which they are expected to obtain in December 2022.
