Brian Wagner

Brian Wagner has extensive work experience in the technology and cybersecurity industry. Starting in 2009, they worked as a freelance consultant until 2013, when they joined Cisco Systems as a software engineer. In 2010, they also worked as a group fitness instructor at o2 fitness.

From 2013 to 2019, Brian worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS), starting as a solutions architect and eventually becoming the head of compliance for EMEA in the financial services division. In these roles, they provided strategic guidance to financial services customers and helped them navigate regulatory requirements.

In 2020, Brian joined RMS as the director of cloud and security, leading the transformation from traditional licensed software to a cloud-based data analytics platform. Brian utilized their financial services industry experience to ensure regulatory compliance and assist customers in adopting outsourced services.

From 2021 to present, Brian has held various chief technology officer roles. At Bulletproof (Cyber Security), they oversaw tooling, support, and security operations teams, protecting customers from cyber threats. At Defense.com™, they owned the strategy and direction of a flagship security-as-a-service offering, making cyber security accessible to businesses.

Most recently, Brian joined Revenir in 2023 as the chief technology officer, responsible for driving technological advancements within the company.

Brian Wagner has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Brian also studied Computer Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In addition to their formal education, Brian has obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in April 2021.
