Michael Volk

Michael Volk has extensive experience in the healthcare and technology industries. Michael began their career in 1994 as the Child and Adolescent Unit Manager at Forest Hospital. In 1996, they founded, served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a Psychiatric Hospital, where they developed the corporate structure and created bylaws. In 1998, they became the Chief Operating Officer of an Application Software Company, where they developed corporate structure and marketing strategies on an international level and grew the company from $2 million to $15 million. In 2002, they started their own Management Consulting business. In 2005, they became the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Reven Pharmaceuticals, where they provided executive leadership and direction to a multi-division Bio-Technology Company. In 2011, they became the Executive Director of HemiPhon. From 2012 to 2020, they served as the Director and Chief Financial Officer of Reven Holdings, Inc. and in 2020 they became the Director and Chief Strategy Officer of Reven Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Michael Volk earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University between 1994 and 1996. Michael also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Dakota between 1990 and 1992. Prior to that, they studied Psychology and Science at the University of Miami from 1987 to 1989.
