Mark Kuperman has a diverse work experience in various industries. Mark started their career as a Stageire/Apprentice at Ristorante Sadler in 1998 before moving on to work as an Executive Chef at Legoland California in 1999. At Legoland, they managed foodservice for the theme park, including five restaurants and six stands, and played a strategic role in developing a full-service park restaurant. Mark also implemented cost control measures using forecasting tools. In 2003, Mark founded and owned a quick-service restaurant start-up called Johnny Applestix. Mark developed the business plan, raised private equity, managed store construction, and oversaw online store operations. Since 2006, Mark has been working as the Chief Operating Officer at Revenue Management Solutions (RMS), a global organization. RMS specializes in using marketing and financial analyses to manage revenue and optimize gross profit. They have offices in multiple locations worldwide, and Mark is responsible for managing a diverse team of consultants.
Mark Kuperman obtained their BA in Economics with a minor in Statistics from Northwestern University, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Mark then pursued an AOS (Associate of Occupational Studies) in Culinary Arts from the California Culinary Academy from 1996 to 1998. Mark continued their education and earned a Masters degree in Hospitality Management from Cornell University, completing the program from 2001 to 2003.
