Joe Lybik has a diverse range of work experience. In 2016 and 2017, they worked as an overnight summer camp counselor at URJ Goldman Union Camp Institute, where they planned programs and was part of the Alpine tower climbing team. From 2017 to 2018, Joe worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Urban Ecology and Design Laboratory at Yale, where they contributed to the development of a heat rejecting green wall concept. In 2018, Joe worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Gentner Research Group, assisting with analytical chemistry and engineering projects. In the same year, they co-founded Revert Technologies, Inc., serving as the Co-Founder/CTO. Here, they designed a lithium-ion battery monitoring system and an IoT platform for smart home energy management. More recently, Joe joined ISAIC as a Sustainability Manager in 2020, where they built out environmental policy and management systems and led sustainability initiatives. Joe is currently involved in a project on developing microfactories for upcycling textile waste.
Joe Lybik earned their High School Diploma from Park Tudor School from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they attended Yale University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering.
