Peng Yue

Peng Yue has a diverse work experience in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics. They are currently the Co-Founder and CEO of ReviR Therapeutics since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at 23andMe as the Director of Computational Biology from July 2019 to May 2021. Before that, they held the position of Director of Bioinformatics at AbbVie from July 2017 to June 2019. Peng also worked at Gilead Sciences, where they were a Director of Bioinformatics from January 2017 to June 2017 and an Associate Director of Bioinformatics from November 2012 to January 2017. Their early career includes roles at Genentech as a Senior Computational Biologist from March 2011 to October 2012 and as a Computational Biologist from January 2007 to April 2011. They also worked at Gene Logic as a Bioinformatics Scientist from January 2006 to December 2006 and as an Associate Bioinformatics Scientist from August 2004 to December 2005.

Peng Yue pursued their education in a chronological manner. Peng completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Nankai University from 1991 to 1995. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from the same institution, studying from 1995 to 1998. Peng then pursued a Ph.D. in Computational Biology & Bioinformatics at the University of Maryland, which they earned between the years 1999 and 2005. Prior to their university education, they attended Yaohua High School, but no specific years or degrees were provided for this period.
